The rise of the Deaf Pride movement in the 1980s has introduced a distinction between deaf and Deaf, with the capitalized form used specifically in referring to deaf persons belonging to the community—also known as Deaf culture—that has formed around the use of American Sign Language as the preferred means of communication.

"What a Wonderful World" Sign Language for 2nd Graders! :-)

A 2nd grade teacher asked me to show the kids some signs to go along with this song they'll be performing on the last day of school. There may be some future Signers there, so I kept it simple not wanting to frustrate them! :-)

Women's Facial Expressions
Women's Facial Expressions
Read Your Girlfriend as an Open Book
Finally, there is a guide to women's facial expressions and how to provoke each one in your own girlfriend. Note: use it at your own risk. The original was published here, so I did the translation, and intend to broaden the scope a little, with your help. Send in the pics of other emotions, not covered here, for example: "uncontrolled anger", "sheer excitement", "love is in the air", "ecstasy from shopping" etc.
Ladies, take heart! Male expressions are even easier to read, with a help of this handy smiley chart:

YouTube launches new look for embedded videos
YouTube launches new look for embedded videos
Filed under: Internet, Video, Blogging, Web services, Google
YouTube has been slowly rolling out a new interface for its flash videos, making it easier for viewers to get sucked into hours and hours of watching pointless online videos of cats dancing. The new interface shows related videos when you scroll over the bottom of the screen with your cursor. While selected videos on YouTube have had the new design for a while, it's just starting to pop up on videos embedded in blogs.
So now visitors to your website can watch a bunch of videos that you'd never intended to show them without leaving your page. That's, umm.. cool, right?
YouTube's also made it a bit easier to embed videos on your site by adding buttons with the URL and embed code at the end of the video.
